2030年预计管理2000亿新元资产?


吉宝企业转型不搞集团经营。似乎也配合新加坡经济在不同阶段的转型。从造船,海事,地产,基建,金融再到现在的基金管理和投资。代表不同时代新加坡经济的发财机会。

作为政联公司的老大,吉宝的转型得利于新加坡经济的转型。不同时期的利大好处,吉宝似乎没有缺席。因此,有时候搞不清楚,到底是政府指引,还是独具慧眼。

吉宝企业有一天或许会间接管理部分公积金存款。这一部分的钱来自政府,通过政府发公债,然后交给吉宝进行投资、管理。2000亿的目标,当然也包括管理私人的钱,或许,也包括其他政联公司的钱。

巴西的贪污案,已经让吉宝企业的商誉跌入谷底。或许知道自己无法在修船、海事方面与人竞争,因此把相关的生意,与胜科海事合并。这么一来,似乎想要做到脱胎换骨。

理论上,吉宝转型有一定的成功可能。考虑到大把大把的钱流入新加坡。总要找基金管理和投资机会。

吉宝试图达到每年百分之十五的回报。因此,在基金管理和投资上,吉宝要和投资人保持密切联系。这个回报率比淡马锡和新加坡政府投资回报率都来得高。

作为政联公司,淡马锡又是第一大股东,吉宝和投资人保持高度密切联系,肯定做得到。吉宝当然很可能为政府和主权基金管理一些投资和基金。

吉宝在发布新布局时,似乎只是大谈如何钱赚钱,如何搞基金管理,如何寻找投资机会。我们看不到作为一家国有事业,它为新加坡经济,就业市场提供什么机会,对于提升新加坡经济,做出什么贡献?似乎,它给予人们的印象是如何聪明的利用新加坡的有利地位,为自己创造利益。完全没有考虑它是拿纳税人的钱,替纳税人打工。

在这样的背景下,它重覆在巴西的错误,唯利是图的工作态度,是很可能再度发生。到时,是否又要政府出手解救?我们不能完全否定瑞士信贷的悲剧不会在新加坡上演。

EBRC objectives: Stop “Out of Aljunied”, Stop SDP Breakthrough and “Negative-Asset” Ministers.

First of all, we have to congratulate the Electoral Boundaries Review Committee for creating more competitions, especially, multi-cornered competitions in the East. When making changes, EBRC aims to achieve 3 goals: To prevent “Out of Aljunied” for Workers’ Party.  This is the most important objective. To prevent Singapore Democratic Party making any breakthrough in the North and Central.   To look for a solution to retire “negative-asset” ministers or reduce PAP damages. From the reported claims from different political parties, we will expect multi-cornered contests not only in single constituencies but also in group representative constituencies. Is Prism Project Another Central Planning of the PAP?

There are 3 scenarios under the Prism Project#1 of Institute of Public Policy.  However, it looks more like the central scenario planning of the People’s Action Party. From the instructional menu of Prism Project Primer #2, participants were guided to a situation in 2022 and they have to imagine, within the Primer framework, to come out with 3 possible scenarios in Jun-Aug 2012.  2022. What a coincidence! Not long ago, PM Lee declared that he would like to hold the prime minister post for another 10 years. The other coincidence is the similarity between the 3 scenarios and the candidates of PE2011.
