Anything related to the Leader of the Opposition is a public interest. He or she can affect a country’s future.
In a parliamentary democracy, the Leader of the Opposition will hold the highest political position once his party receives the majority. So, it is a public concern as voters have to decide their future on the alternative policies put up by the Opposition.
We are quite ignorant to believe the forever one-party rule. For a long time, we have not had the Leader of the Opposition. Since we now have one, it is certainly a public affair, affecting the future, affecting the election and the future government.
To face or not to face the political reality?
