情况比Facebook到Meta还要严重。。。




从1910万,274万到去年的33万游客;旅游业收入从2019年的277亿,2020年下降到48亿,再下降到去年的19亿新元。不论游客人数和收入,巨大的下降幅度,令人胆战心惊。


新加坡旅游业如何重新启航,新航如何再次起飞?


这已经不是短期问题,至少,这是中期问题。国内的通货膨胀问题,也不利旅游业的复苏,除非游客带着买屋子兼旅游,办公事兼旅游,家访兼旅游的心态;但是,这些游客人数会多到哪里?难怪,旅游局不对2022年做出展望。。。

或许,政府不敢轻易做出判断,走向不明朗,或者,根本不知道如何走。他们唯一明确的方向是继续支持新航,延后机场的发展。还有把建设旅游业的钱,分配到其他行业去。


新加坡旅游业面对的困境比元宇宙的脸书还要严重。改名后的脸书,虽然希望元宇宙的世界能够带动业务,但是却面对不受年轻人青睐的困境。使用脸书的人数,已经到达瓶颈,脸书也不再是年轻人的首选。因此,股价大跌,市场价值惨跌超过25%,比新西兰、新加坡的年国民所得还要多!


元宇宙在事情还没有发生的时候,就已经预测到必须寻找新的方向,新的业务发展。而且,财力雄厚,有能力可以通过购买其他公司来壮大自己。


新加坡在旅游业面对巨大问题时,也考虑到重新分配资源的问题。如何分配?最需要协助的人和企业,如何获得适当的分配和援助?


我们的储备雄厚,只是方向和方法在哪里?我们从淡马锡和政府投资公司的投资活动中,看到了什么?看到什么策略?如何激活新加坡本地企业?


没有。


我们看到又要加税,费用再起,开支节节升高。。。


旅游业人数和收入下降的问题和幅度,比当年英军退出新加坡的情形还要严重。


或许,很多人都忘记了。


我们当年的勇气,领袖魄力,策略决策,刻苦努力,还能寻找回来吗?


储备高,有钱了,但是,我们的领袖素质、能力、竞争力何在?因此,PAP只能说他们的领导是共同协作、共同领导(collegial leadership)以及和人民在一起,人民伙伴(Partnership with citizens)。



这种与民同在,共同责任的精神,似乎说明,将来出什么事,这是大家的责任,大家的负担,不要把责任全部归咎于PAP政府,李显龙和4G。

EBRC objectives: Stop “Out of Aljunied”, Stop SDP Breakthrough and “Negative-Asset” Ministers.

First of all, we have to congratulate the Electoral Boundaries Review Committee for creating more competitions, especially, multi-cornered competitions in the East. When making changes, EBRC aims to achieve 3 goals: To prevent “Out of Aljunied” for Workers’ Party.  This is the most important objective. To prevent Singapore Democratic Party making any breakthrough in the North and Central.   To look for a solution to retire “negative-asset” ministers or reduce PAP damages. From the reported claims from different political parties, we will expect multi-cornered contests not only in single constituencies but also in group representative constituencies. The PAP hopes to have a repeat of 2011 Presidential Election. Then Tony Tan won the Presidency when he got only 35% of the votes, a narrow win.However, a win is still a win.
