学校手机事件,代表了什么正义,公理?


新加坡难得有机会登上国际新闻,但是,一起学校手机事件 -- 家长告学校没收学生手机事件,竟然成了世界新闻。

为何,这么一起茶杯里的风波,会这么的吸引世界的焦点,难道,这代表了新加坡正义的一面,公理的一环吗?

    这当然和司法有关,因为,法庭现在需要处理这件事。无论结果如何,这似乎说明新加坡是一个法治社会,如果个人觉得不公平,可以向法庭提告。前提是你需要懂得法律,懂得如何提告,懂得自己的立场、论据,是否在法庭告诉中站得住脚。

    这一点,这位拥有法律知识的家长,当然知道,当然懂得如何利用。

    在这个程度上,我们应该感谢这位家长提出他个人的看法,个人的正义感,个人对公理的诠释,要求法庭给予一个合理的判决。这对一般新加坡公众来说,能够起着学校以外,人民行动党教条以外的另一种思考 -- 学校是否有权没收手机,没收手机的合理性,以及家长要求即刻归还手机的要求 (法庭没有同意这点)。

    在行动党的教育下,我们新加坡人,已经变得没有思考能力。国际上的评论,普遍认为新加坡人的思维单一,想法直接,缺少变通,灵活性。很多国外的人看新加坡雇员,思想很一致,照章工作,不多做也不少做。事实上,不论是政府,还是国际友人,都认为这是新加坡的致命伤,直接影响新加坡的竞争力,生产力和创新。

    这么难得,我们看到挑战学校的一幕,而且还是来自名校的家长。

    或许,我们从更加深一层来看这个问题。第一,这是不是茶杯里的风波?第二,这是不是狭义的正义和公理?

从东方人的思维来看这个问题,学校的校规和学校教育,有着比较高的肯定。我们的孩子在学校受教育,当然必须受到校规的约束,即使手机是个人的财产。我们也乐意看到孩子在不受手机的干扰下学习。因此,挑战校规,尤其是为了个人的财产和利益,来告诉校方,似乎说明,也要证明,家长具有法律知识,有时间,有能力,能够依据法理为孩子争取权益。

如果,每位家长都能够如此的保护孩子,给予孩子法律知识、个人的权益教育,这的确能够为孩子们,提供另一类思考,另一种醒悟。我们新加坡人也就不那么单一了。这对提高孩子个人的竞争力和创新,有所帮助。

(或许,这就是名校和名校家长的不同之处)。

那么,这是不是茶杯里的风波?这是个人问题的放大,这是一间名校内部的问题,家长考虑的是个人孩子的手机问题,而不是整个社会大众的公众利益、权利、正义,和公理。

如果,真的有正义和公理,我们只能很勉强的定义为狭义的正义和公理。家长只是依据本身的法律知识,为自己的孩子争一口气,为自己的孩子争取公道。如果,发生在别人身上,别人的孩子的手机,这种正义和公理还管用吗?

那么,什么是广义的正义和公理?这事实上是新加坡最缺乏的。在个人层面上,有个别的人,就像这位家长,明白法律的运作,也懂得法庭的程序,但是,他们只是把相关的知识和认知,运用在个人的利益上。当然,如果,你愿意付出代价,这些知识和认知也可以有条件的为你服务。

新加坡不是没有不同意见,不同思想的人。只是拥有这些知识和认知的人,不会把这些知识免费无条件的提供给其他的人,尤其是那些最需要,而经济能力差的人。我们考虑问题的出发点是狭义的,而非广义的正义和公理。

而这种结果,也正是行动党政府乐意见到的。也是行动党政府教育下顺理成章的结局。行动党要少数人明白法律法庭的运作,而这些人基于个人利益,不会考虑广义的社会正义和公理。除非他们的个人利益受到威胁,那么,他们就不得不为自己和自己的孩子出手。

这样一来,对于行动党政府来说,就很容易管理。只要不伤害到少数懂得法律的人的利益,其他人的管理工作就简单多了、容易多了。

短期内,对新加坡的稳定有利,这是行动党的号召。但是,长期来说,对新加坡的竞争力,创新却是一大隐忧。而一个缺少广义正义和公理的地方,是否真的能够长期稳定持续下去?

EBRC objectives: Stop “Out of Aljunied”, Stop SDP Breakthrough and “Negative-Asset” Ministers.

First of all, we have to congratulate the Electoral Boundaries Review Committee for creating more competitions, especially, multi-cornered competitions in the East. When making changes, EBRC aims to achieve 3 goals: To prevent “Out of Aljunied” for Workers’ Party.  This is the most important objective. Is Prism Project Another Central Planning of the PAP?

There are 3 scenarios under the Prism Project#1 of Institute of Public Policy.  However, it looks more like the central scenario planning of the People’s Action Party. From the instructional menu of Prism Project Primer #2, participants were guided to a situation in 2022 and they have to imagine, within the Primer framework, to come out with 3 possible scenarios in Jun-Aug 2012.  2022.
